There Are Currently 500 Units Available Under Management by the Housing Authority of the City of Calexico. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Housing Authority of the City of Calexico Serves the Calexico, Metropolitan Area.
The primary task of the Housing Authority of the City of Calexico is to provide affordable rental housing for low income families, elderly and disabled persons. The Authority provides housing that we have developed and own and/or manage for eligible applicants as well as housing through rent subsidies on behalf of eligible applicants who lease privately owned units (Section 8).
