The Mid-South Peace and Justice Center’s Homeless Organizing for Power & Equality (HOPE) is a program that empowers individuals who experience homelessness to advocate for their rights and spread awareness about their struggles. HOPE enables individuals experiencing homelessness to have a voice and participate in the decision-making processes that affect their lives. The program provides skills training, leadership development, and opportunities for civic engagement, emphasizing the importance of political, economic, and social self-determination.
