Ruth's Place, a program by Volunteers of America Pennsylvania, is a dedicated resource for women experiencing homelessness in Luzerne County. This 24/7 emergency shelter provides not only a safe place to stay, but also comprehensive care services such as case management, life skills development, health and wellness education, and other supportive services. The ultimate aim of Ruth's Place is to help women overcome homelessness and achieve housing stability, thereby rebuilding their lives with dignity and respect.
