The Van Buren Center, run by the YMCA of Central Ohio in partnership with the Community Shelter Board and other community organizations, is a comprehensive resource for people experiencing homelessness. The center provides a variety of supportive services such as emergency shelter, case management, and housing assistance. The aim of the center is to help individuals and families quickly exit homelessness and transition to stable housing. The center has the capacity to serve over 400 men, women, and families with children each night.
