The Albuquerque Opportunity Center (AOC) is a program offered by Heading Home, a non-profit organization that aims to make experiences of homelessness rare, short-lived, and non-recurring. The AOC is a men's shelter located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, providing emergency shelter for 71 men per night, and a Respite Care program that offers medically-supported beds for homeless individuals discharged from hospitals. Additionally, the AOC offers supportive housing for 30 men transitioning out of homelessness, job acquisition support, and a variety of other resources to help homeless individuals secure stable housing and improve their quality of life.
