Roof Above, formerly known as Urban Ministry Center and Men’s Shelter of Charlotte, is an online resource dedicated to addressing homelessness in the Charlotte community. Their mission is to end homelessness by providing a comprehensive range of services including emergency shelter, affordable housing, medical care, and comprehensive supportive services. They also strive to educate the community about homelessness and advocate for systemic changes. By merging the talents and resources of the two organizations, Roof Above aims to provide a more efficient and effective response to homelessness in the region.
