The Community Action Program of Evansville (CAPE) is a dedicated resource providing a variety of services for homeless or low-income individuals and families in Vanderburgh County, Indiana. The organization's aim is to help these individuals achieve self-sufficiency by offering a comprehensive range of assistance programs. This includes emergency shelter placement, transitional housing, affordable rental housing, nutrition and healthcare services, educational programs, employment assistance, and more. CAPE's mission is to actively address the issues of poverty and homelessness in the community by improving lives, one family at a time.
