The Lighthouse for Women & Children, offered by the Ventura County Rescue Mission, is a program specifically designed to provide homeless women and children with shelter, basic necessities, and a comprehensive recovery program. The program includes a Life Recovery program, a transitional living program, and a single women’s shelter, all aimed at helping women achieve personal stability and self-sufficiency. Services offered include counseling, education, job training, and parenting classes. The goal of the Lighthouse is to offer a safe, nurturing environment where women and children can begin to heal and work toward a brighter future.
