The Los Angeles Mission is a non-profit, privately funded organization that serves the immediate and long-term needs of homeless and disadvantaged individuals in Los Angeles. The mission provides meals, clothing, shelter, and medical care, as well as professional mental health counseling, adult education, job training, and transitional housing. The goal of the organization is not only to meet physical needs but also to address the underlying issues causing homelessness and help individuals achieve self-sufficiency.
