There Are Currently 403 Units Available Under Management by the Housing Authority of Okanogan County. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Housing Authority of Okanogan County Serves the Omak, Metropolitan Area.

From its beginning, the haoc has been diligently serving in pursuit of providing for the housing needs identified in that petition. Today the haoc is an agency that is respected and recognized as being a strong partner in creating solutions, access, and equity in affordable housing. Our mantra is: “affordable housing for all” because we recognize that while our mission for being is to assist limited income families, we are also strong partners with other housing efforts to ensure every okanogan county resident has a place to call home. In a continued effort to fulfill our mission we have created strong partners with other non-profit agencies like the office of rural and farmworker housing (orfh) to assist in our pursuit of developing and preserving affordable housing in okanogan county.
