There Are Currently 455 Units Available Under Management by the Housing Authority of Grant County. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Housing Authority of Grant County Serves the Moses Lake, Metropolitan Area.

The housing authority recently earned recognition from the washington state housing finance commission by receiving a friend of housing award, and has also won regional and national awards from the national association of housing and redevelopment officials. The housing authority was the first public agency to install solar electric panels on its projects and by partnering with eco depot, an environmental firm in spokane, now produces 23,000 watts of sun-generated electricity. The agency continues to provide new affordable housing opportunities in order to meet local need. Construction is done on our most recent development, purple sage apartments, which was fully funded by the washington state housing finance commission and the department of commerce. The development has resulted in 16 new apartment units in ephrata and 8 in quincy. In recent years the housing authority has also taken on grants to provide emergency assistance to those experiencing homelessness. With these programs now in full swing we are able to see people go from homelessness to being housed in affordable and permanent housing options.
