There Are Currently 57 Units Available Under Management by the Willacy County Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Willacy County Housing Authority Serves the Raymondville, Metropolitan Area.
Established in 1949, the Willacy County Housing Authority provides decent, safe and sanitary housing for residents. The housing authority provides 108 affordable housing apartments and homes for rent. The housing authority also manages a choice voucher program (Section 8) that provides housing assistance to very low income families, the elderly and the disabled with the opportunity to afford decent, safe, and sanitary housing in the private market.
