There Are Currently 70 Units Available Under Management by the Housing Authority of Henderson. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Housing Authority of Henderson Serves the Henderson, Metropolitan Area.
Henderson Housing Authority provides housing assistance to low income residents through the management of Low Rent Public Housing. This program is income based and the eligibility guidelines are set by HUD. (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development) There may be a waiting list for apartment rentals and at times the list may close to new applicants based on the size and length of the waiting list. The bedroom sizes of Henderson HA units range from 1 bedroom apartments to 4 bedroom apartments. Residents of public housing pay rent based on their income, generally 30% of a resident’s income. Funding comes from HUD, tenant rental receipts, and grants.
