The Denton Housing Authority was formed in 1970 to address the housing needs of low-income families in the city of Denton. We currently administer the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program and operate and manage Heritage Oaks Apartments and Pecan Place Apartments. We recently completed development and construction of Renaissance Courts Townhomes. Our mission is to promote and create suitable and affordable housing for our clients to enhance their quality of life and develop innovative programs that will encourage economic independence
