There Are Currently 560 Units Available Under Management by the Housing Authority of Union. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Housing Authority of Union Serves the Union, Metropolitan Area.
The Housing Authority of Union has been serving the citizens of Union County since 1960. We currently maintain 287 single family public housing units. We have 54 Section 8 New Construction units at our Lakeside Manor Apartments, which are located at 1111 Lakeside Drive. We also have 274 Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers. Each of these services are provided so that people in need can obtain safe decent and affordable housing. Over the years, our services have expanded throughout the area into five separate locations.
