At Marion Housing Authority, we have unwavering faith in the future of Marion. However, we have come to the realization that waiting for tomorrow is no longer acceptable for our residents. They deserve to have a fulfilling today. To achieve this, we have established an independent nonprofit organization called Building for Change Inc., which operates as a 501 c (3). Our goal is to go beyond the capabilities of a public housing agency and make a significant impact. Our mission not only involves providing housing for our residents but also cultivating a sense of hope within our community. We are committed to reducing the barriers that our neighbors face and multiplying opportunities for them. Our vision is for Marion to become a place where everyone can truly experience an enhanced quality of life.
