There Are Currently 426 Units Available Under Management by the Mercer County Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Mercer County Housing Authority Serves the Sharon, Metropolitan Area.
MCHA operates housing for elderly, non-elderly disabled persons and for families that meet the low and moderate income criteria for the federal and state programs. The Authority provides these housing units through Federal multi-family housing, State housing programs and the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program whereby applicants can seek housing with private rental housing
