There Are Currently 302 Units Available Under Management by the Clearfield County Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Clearfield County Housing Authority Serves the Clearfield, Metropolitan Area.
The Clearfield County Housing Authority (CCHA) was originally formed in 1968 under the Pennsylvania housing authority laws by the city officials who saw a need for federally assisted housing in the area. The first housing units were constructed and opened in 1974. The CCHA operates and manages 358 units of public housing, multifamily housing, and subsidized housing throughout Clearfield County. The CCHA is governed by a 5-member Board of Directors. The Board is responsible to appoint the Executive Director of the agency to oversee the daily operations and a six-member staff including four administrative and two maintenance positions.
