There Are Currently 34 Units Available Under Management by the Housing Authority of the City of Commerce. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Housing Authority of the City of Commerce Serves the Commerce, Metropolitan Area.
The Commerce Housing Authority is a part of HUD’s Public Housing Program. Public housing was established to provide decent and safe rental housing for eligible low-income families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities. The U.S. Department of HUD administers Federal aid to local housing agencies to manage the housing for low-income residents at rents they can afford.
