There Are Currently 7653 Units Available Under Management by the Housing Authority of the City of Oklahoma City. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Housing Authority of the City of Oklahoma City Serves the Oklahoma City, Metropolitan Area.
Established in September, 1965, the OCHA currently owns Public Housing consisting of 2,920 units. In addition, the OCHA administers approximately 4,500 units of Section 8 Housing in the Oklahoma City area. This enables us to provide housing and rental assistance to low-income people and their families with the availability of over 7,400 dwelling units.
