There Are Currently 356 Units Available Under Management by the Port Jervis Community Development Agency. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Port Jervis Community Development Agency Serves the Port Jervis, Metropolitan Area.
Since 1981, The Port Jervis Community Development Agency (PJCDA) has been the City’s local administrator of federal, state and local funds for housing, public improvements and economic development programs. The mission of the Agency is to preserve the City’s housing stock, upgrade and improve public infrastructure and leverage private investment through the use of available public resources to retain and attract new industry, promote employment opportunities and improve the quality of housing, neighborhoods and life in the Port Jervis community.
