Established on November 17, 1972, the Santa Fe County Housing Authority continues to hold a prominent position as one of the biggest property owners in Santa Fe. Additionally, the Housing Authority effectively administers several other programs, including the Housing Choice Voucher Homeownership Program, Resident Opportunities and Self-Sufficiency Program (ROSS), Family Self-Sufficiency Program (FSS), and the Capital Fund Program (CFP). Predominantly, the Housing Authority's financial resources are derived from rental income and subsidies granted by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
