There Are Currently 130 Units Available Under Management by the Ionia Housing Commission. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Ionia Housing Commission Serves the Ionia, Metropolitan Area.
The Housing Commission will strive to achieve a High Performer status and our goal is to continue this status. The Housing Commission’s goal is to provide decent, safe & affordable housing for our low and extremely low-income families. Our housing stock will be maintained by utilizing all available funds. Our housing stock is in excellent repair and our vacancy rate is very low. Curb appeal is high priority so that our housing stock blends in with the neighborhood.
