There Are Currently 344 Units Available Under Management by the Traverse City Housing Commission. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Traverse City Housing Commission Serves the Traverse City, Metropolitan Area.

In 1966, the City of Traverse City established the Traverse City Housing Commission. This commission is responsible for the ownership and operation of Riverview Terrace Apartments and Orchardview Townhomes. We constantly accept applications for these properties and use a "wait list" to allocate our available apartments. Getting on the "wait list" is the initial requirement for all prospective tenants.
