There Are Currently 200 Units Available Under Management by the Biddeford Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Biddeford Housing Authority Serves the Biddeford, Metropolitan Area.
The Biddeford Housing Authority was established in September 1985. In 2011, the authority took on the role of managing the Saco Housing Authority. In 2014, the two housing authorities merged to become one under the name of Biddeford Housing. Currently, the authority oversees 156 housing choice vouchers and manages around 400 portability vouchers. While its main focus is on Saco and Biddeford, the authority also serves the communities of Old Orchard Beach, Buxton, Arundel, Lyman, Dayton, and Kennebunkport.
