There Are Currently 287 Units Available Under Management by the Brewer Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Brewer Housing Authority Serves the Brewer, Metropolitan Area.
Established in 1972, the brewer housing authority owns and operates 154 public housing units, administers 133 section 8 vouchers for hud and 25 to 30 housing choice vouchers for other public housing authorities. The housing authority is management agent for dirigo school associates; chamberlain place senior housing; somerset place and the housing choice voucher family self-sufficiency program. Brewer housing also offers a home ownership program.
