There Are Currently 149 Units Available Under Management by the Oxford Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Oxford Housing Authority Serves the Oxford, Metropolitan Area.
The Oxford Housing Authority was established in 1971.The Agencies mission is to provide safe, secure rental subsidies for families, elderly, and handicapped or disabled persons. Both State and Federal Governments fund the programs. The Oxford Housing Authority is a public agency that consists of four (4) elected members and one governor-appointed member for five-year terms. The Director is appointed by the Housing Authority. Depending upon the program, applicants can be housed in either private sector dwellings or an apartment complex owned by the Oxford Housing Authority. Applications are available on the web site.
