There Are Currently 555 Units Available Under Management by the Dedham Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Dedham Housing Authority Serves the Dedham, Metropolitan Area.

The Housing Authority provides housing assistance to low-income residents through State and Federal programs. These management programs include Low Rent Public Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8). Programs are income based and the eligibility guidelines are set by the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). There may be waiting lists for rentals or vouchers, however the waiting lists remain open at all times for new applicants.
