Since 1949, the Bogalusa Housing Authority has been dedicated to serving the community. The Mayor appoints a Board of Commissioners to govern the Housing Authority. Currently, the BHA manages 324 PBV units and provides 98 Housing Choice Vouchers to eligible individuals.
