There Are Currently 132 Units Available Under Management by the Housing Authority of Vernon Parish. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Housing Authority of Vernon Parish Serves the Leesville, Metropolitan Area.

As a High Performing Housing Authority in the State of Louisiana we take great pride in our development and residents. We follow all U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Guidelines, as well as our own Admisssions and Continued Occupancy Policies to insure that all applicants and residents are treated equally and that our properties remain a safe place for individuals and families to reside. Our rent is based upon income, and income limits for acceptance are updated annually by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
