There Are Currently 120 Units Available Under Management by the Housing Authority of the Town of Haynesville. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Housing Authority of the Town of Haynesville Serves the Haynesville, Metropolitan Area.
The Haynesville Housing Authority is responsible for offering public housing to qualifying low-income families, elderly individuals, and those with disabilities. It manages 120 Public Housing Units but does not provide HCV (Housing Choice Vouchers), formerly known as Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers. In addition to housing, the authority also offers resident services such as access to the Food Bank and organizes various activities for residents. The Haynesville Housing Authority was founded in 1971 and is overseen by a Board of Commissioners consisting of five members.
