There Are Currently 78 Units Available Under Management by the Housing Authority of the Town of Oil City. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Housing Authority of the Town of Oil City Serves the Oil City, Metropolitan Area.
With partial funding from HUD (Housing and Urban Development) along with rental income, the Housing Authority is a strong presence in Oil City. A total of 78 units built in 1969 and added to in 1974 make up a neighborhood within the community. Rentals are based on the incomes of the residents who qualify as applicants. There are 1,2 3 & 4 bedroom units available. With the recent updates to the units, and the addition of a large new playground, the housing authority provides a vital compliment to the Oil City residential community.
