There Are Currently 30 Units Available Under Management by the Housing Authority of Beattyville. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Housing Authority of Beattyville Serves the Beattyville, Metropolitan Area.
Over the last 28 years, Beattyville Housing has helped build over 90 new homes. The challenge was to develop an established, planned and fully developed subdivision to encourage private home ownership and improve quality of life. To date Beattyville Housing and Development, using local contractors has constructed over 90 new homes in Lee ,Wolfe and Owsley Counties. Several additional units are in varied stages of construction. Also BHDC has assisted over 200 families for homeowner rehabilitation projects in Lee, Owsley, and Wolfe counties.
The Project Has 6 Total Buildings. The Units Consists Of Both Public Housing And Section 8 Apartment Units.
