There Are Currently 1003 Units Available Under Management by the Boone County Fiscal Court. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Boone County Fiscal Court Serves the Burlington, Metropolitan Area.

The boone county assisted housing department administers the local section 8 rental assistance program. This program is designed to help low income families find safe, decent and sanitary housing and to assist in paying their rent. The boone county fiscal court is the governing board for this program. The basic guidelines are governed by requirements of the u.S. Department of housing and urban development (hud) 24 cfr (code of federal regulations) with latitude for local policies and procedures. The policies and procedures within the local administrative plan are binding upon applicants, participants, owners and the boone county assisted housing department and its agents.
