Southwest kansas area agency on aging is a planning, coordinating, and funding agency for services to older kansans in the 28 counties of southwest kansas. Swkaaa receives its funding from various county, state, and federal programs. County commissioners from each of the 28 counties appoint three individuals to serve on their sub-region council.
