There Are Currently 112 Units Available Under Management by the Great Bend Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Great Bend Housing Authority Serves the Great Bend, Metropolitan Area.

The Great Bend Housing Authority (GBHA) provides affordable housing through two different programs. The first program is a Section 8 low-income housing program providing affordable housing at the High Rise, located at 1101 Kansas Avenue in downtown Great Bend. The second program is a housing assistance program for low-income individuals to apply for Section 8 assistance for privately owned housing with other landlords in the Great Bend community. Both programs are funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
