There Are Currently 408 Units Available Under Management by the Knox County Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Knox County Housing Authority Serves the Bicknell, Metropolitan Area.
With over 1,300 residents, the Knox County Housing Authority (KCHA) holds the title of the largest rental housing owner in the county. Within our public housing portfolio, we manage 418 units, including 228 units specifically designed for single, elderly, and disabled individuals, as well as 190 units for families. Additionally, we administer 220 Housing Choice Vouchers (Section 8), which enable low-income families to secure rental homes from private landlords across our jurisdiction.
