Waverly Low Rent Housing Agency manages two federally subsidized apartment complexes for the elderly under the direction of the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Waverly Housing Commission. The Waverly Homes and Waverly Manor consist of 100 one bedroom apartments which make up two thirds of the Waverly Senior Housing Community.  Persons 62 years of age and over are eligible.  Persons under age 62 and on social security disability are also eligible.  Residents must be capable of managing their own daily living or have care provided within their household. Qualifying individuals pay a rent amount that is approximately 30% of their gross monthly income.
