The Housing Authority of the City of Covington was established in May 1965 by the Georgia State Legislature. Our main goal is to ensure that our community has access to high-quality housing. Presently, we have successfully provided homes to over 300 families in the City of Covington. Over the past three years, we have allocated over $1 million for updating and renovating our existing neighborhoods. We plan to continue these renovations in 2021. Furthermore, we are actively working towards expanding our housing services. This includes offering homes for sale and a wider range of affordable market rate rentals.
