There Are Currently 49 Units Available Under Management by the Housing Authority of the City of Manchester. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Housing Authority of the City of Manchester Serves the Manchester, Metropolitan Area.
The Manchester Housing Authority was established in 1950 for the purpose of providing low income families of Meriwether County, Georgia with housing assistance. Each year the Manchester Housing Authority receives federal funding called Operating Subsidy. Operating Subsidy is used to operate and manage the 49 public housing units.
