Description
There Are Currently 530 Units Available Under Management by the Housing Authority of the City of Valdosta. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Housing Authority of the City of Valdosta Serves the Valdosta, Metropolitan Area.
Aside from the physical inventory programming over the years, the Housing Authority has participated in several HUD Resident Initiative Grant opportunities including HOPE 1, PHDEP (Public Housing Drug Elimination Program, and ROSS (resident Opportunities and Self Sufficiency). Over each of their respective Grant terms, these programs all worked to help improve the lives of those living in Public Housing in their own respective ways, with the ultimate goal of assisting residents down the path towards self-sufficiency.
