In 1952, the establishment of the Housing Authority of the City of Ocilla, Georgia aimed to cater to the housing requirements of low to moderate income families. Presently, the Authority operates under the governance of six commissioners who are appointed by the Mayor. Their responsibilities include supervising an Executive Director and a team of staff members who diligently execute the daily tasks and obligations of the Authority.
