The McDonough Housing Authority owns and operates 118 units of conventional public housing located at three sites. Lamar Point, located off Lewis Street, has 39 units – 10 one-bedroom, 10 two-bedroom, 15 three-bedroom, and 4 four-bedroom units. Hooten Street Apartments consist of 20 one-bedroom, 6 two-bedroom, and 2 three-bedroom – primarily occupied by senior residents. Weaver-Thurman Crossing, located off Church Circle, is home to 8 one-bedroom, 24 two-bedroom, 10 three-bedroom, and 9 four-bedroom units.
