he Macon Housing Authority is a public housing authority chartered under the laws of the State of Georgia in 1938. The Authority is governmental in nature, but is not a part of the general city or county government. MHA uses no local tax revenue in its operation, but derives the majority of its revenue from rents and Federal Subsidies.
