There Are Currently 494 Units Available Under Management by the Seminole County Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Seminole County Housing Authority Serves the Oviedo, Metropolitan Area.
The Seminole County Housing Authority was created in 1953 to provide housing for low income families in the Seminole County area. Through the years the Authority has utilized the Public Housing Program and the Housing Choice Voucher-Section 8 Program to provide rental assistance to needy families.
