There Are Currently 387 Units Available Under Management by the Plant City Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Plant City Housing Authority Serves the Plant City, Metropolitan Area.
PCHA is a non-profit organization established by Plant City in 1957, and empowered with the responsibility and authority to maintain the Public Housing Program, for the City of Plant City, Florida. The Section 8 Program was created by the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 and amended by the Housing and Community Development Act of 1981 and the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998. The Authority was established in accordance with Florida Statutes to develop, manage, and maintain low income housing and housing assistance programs for low income families.
