There Are Currently 306 Units Available Under Management by the Newark Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Newark Housing Authority Serves the Newark, Metropolitan Area.
The mission of the Newark Housing Authority is to provide safe, decent and sanitary housing for very low to moderate income families, the elderly and persons with disabilities. Newark Housing Authority will manage resources efficiently, consistent with the highest ethical standards and free from discrimination. Newark Housing Authority will seek to empower residents and clients to reach self-sufficiency and make the transition to non-subsidized housing.
