There Are Currently 1050 Units Available Under Management by the Camden Housing Authority. These Low-income Housing Units Consist of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-income Housing Tax Credit Properties. the Camden Housing Authority Serves the Camden, Metropolitan Area.
Camden Housing Authority's mission is to provide the very best, decent, safe, and sanitary housing at an affordable price for our community and the residents while they require our services. Camden Housing Authority provides Low Income and Section 8 Housing programs. Low Income Housing is directly owned and operated by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and Section 8 Housing provides rental assistance to low-income families living in privately-owned rental properties. The housing authority manages 8 projects on 14 sites with 346 family units and 175 elderly/handicapped units. It also administers 531 Section 8 Vouchers in four counties.
