District of Columbia Affordable Housing consists of Section 8, Public Housing, and Low-Income properties. These properties include affordable single family homes, townhouses, and apartments. District of Columbia and HUD have made affordable housing a priority by allocating housing vouchers, rental assistance, homelessness resources and more to help make housing security a reality for individuals and families. Currently there are total 364 Section 8 Approved units in District of Columbia.
