Bethesda Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding and caring for the abandoned poor and providing shelter, housing, and services to individuals experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia. Since its inception in 1979, the organization has grown from a simple soup kitchen to a comprehensive service provider offering a range of emergency shelter, permanent housing, and supportive services designed to improve the quality of life for those facing homelessness. Bethesda Project operates over a dozen sites throughout Center City Philadelphia for those in need.
